What Does Walk Over Mean?

A walk over is a process in trenchless technology which requires the use of a magnetometer, or similar instrument, to locate the position and determine the strength of the electromagnetic signals from a sonde in a boring system’s pilot head, a downhole impact hammer or underground infrastructure electrically energized to display an electromagnetic signature.
