Microtunneling

Microtunneling is a trenchless technique used to create small tunnels. It is done using a microtunnel boring machine (MTBM) and creates tunnels up to about 1.5 meters (or 5 feet) in diameter. Material is removed using a slurry, and the process requires jacking shafts.
