The Urban Drainage Group is a division of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), whose role is to support the advancement of and promote best practices in the wastewater industry and urban drainage management. This group continues on the work established by the now defunct WaPUG (Wastewater Planning Users Group) which was founded in 1982.
